Christmas Donation Drive for American Troops
When I visit our men and women in combat zones, they tell me how much they are lifted by these expressions of support from home.
The Christmas for our Troops project is only one example of the important work being done by Montana Supporting Soldiers. I’m honored to be a part of their effort, and welcome Montanans to show why we’re known as the most generous people in the world.
Montana Supporting Soldiers was founded in 2003 to send packages and mail to American military men and women serving overseas. Based in Helena, the group has about 600 “adopted” soldiers, has approximately 60 members in 13 states across America.
Please drop items at any of my State Congressional Offices in
Billings,
Great Falls,

And Their Family.
For a member of our military, a battle buddy can be a lifesaver. During a deployment to a combat zone, battle buddies watch each others backs, keep each other safe, and are there when things get tough. While the troops are away from home, they’ve got a battle buddy to help get them through. But what about the families back home? Who’s there to watch their backs, help get them through?
Montana Battle Buddies
The Montana Battle Buddies program connects volunteer organizations with military families in need. Whether your organization can provide yard work, fix a car, help a family keep their finances in order, or anything else a family may be struggling with, the service you provide can help make a military family’s time away from their loved one a little bit easier.
